A Different Perspective

Hello friends! I hope you are all staying safe and well! I have so many thoughts going on in my head about the current situation many of us are facing. I am sure many of you do as well. I am getting so tired of seeing the negative and but I am also enjoying seeing all the good that is being done as well. Everyone copes with these situations differently because we all have different lives and pasts that have shaped the way we deal with tragedies. We should not be quick to judge someone and how they are coping because we do not know their full story. I'm preaching to myself as well! Let us be reminded of the passage in Romans 14:1-13. Go and read it if you have time. It is a beautiful reminder of God's grace and how we should act towards others especially those whose faith is weak. It ends in verse 13 by saying, "Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister." So let's seek to love one another and extend grace.

I also cannot imagine going through all of this right now not knowing my Savior. I have no idea how people who don't know God cope with these situations. Where does their hope come from? Do they even have hope? Hope is a powerful thing and even just a little hope can change your attitude and give you just what you need to get through the current situation. Where does a believer's hope come from? Well in the Lord of course! So to my friends that are struggling to find hope today, I made this diagram below. It shows a life without God and a life with God. May this encourage you to see how much hope we do have in this life because we follow Jesus and can trust in Him. But may it also convict you to pray for those whose lives are without God as it gives you a glimpse into what they may be feeling at this moment. If you are on the fence and do not know what to believe, I hope this can show you through scripture how much God is real and how much He can help you!
